I’m a researcher at the Institute of Geography at Innsbruck University and an active member of the Working Group Development Studies and Sustainability Science (AGEF). Since March 2021 I work as a Post-Doc researcher in the FWF project “Exploring values-based modes of production and consumption in the corporate food regime”.
In my research, I focus on human-environment relations, economic geography (Global Production Networks and Global Value Chains) as well as development questions in the context of natural resource extraction. In this context, I realized my PhD thesis “The lithium rush. Local extraction conditions in the context of Global Production Networks (GPN) in northwest-Argentina” about the social-ecological consequences of lithium mining in Southamerica.
